FACULTY SENATE MINUTES (approved)
5:51 p.m. on April 19, 2004, Chair Gates convened
the 2004-2005 Faculty Senate meeting
in the University Conference Room (224 I. G. Greer Hall).

A. Election of Officers, 2004-2005
The Faculty Senate re-convened at 5:51 p.m. on April 19, 2004.
Gates called for additional nominations. Senator McGarry explained that he would not be available in the Spring 2005 semester due to a scheduling conflict so he nominated Senator Staub for Vice Chair for Spring 2005.

The candidates briefly informed senators about themselves and talked about their goals, priorities and viewpoints.

The following officers were elected:
Chair – Michael Moore
Vice Chair for Fall 2004 – Rick McGarry
Vice Chair for Spring 2005 – Susan Staub
Secretary – Beth Cramer

Moore moved and McGarry seconded to adjourn the meeting.

VOTE 1. Adjourn the re-convened, April 19, 2004 meeting.
The motion passed unanimously by verbal acclamation.

The meeting adjourned at 6:05 p.m.
