Freshman progress reports (fyi); use of the convocation center (done); list of chairpersons up for renewal (done); motion on UNC's system form for promotion and tenure (done); motion concerning faculty safety (failed) (However, we did not point out that the event took place outside the classroom, and, thus, was not covered by establish student policy.); non-tenure track faculty committee report (done); Graduate School professional certificates (done); use and storage of student evaluations of instruction (done); Senate representative on AP&P, on Board of Trustees Academic Policy Committee, and on Core Curriculum Committee (done); motion regarding curriculum change process (done); motion concerning part-time faculty (done); student grade appeals process  (MAKE LINK) (done); motions involving academic freedom (done); motion to form ad-hoc committee on distance education (done); motion to form ad-hoc committee on academic governance (done); motion to form ad-hoc committee on promotion and tenure guidelines (done); motion to streamline paperwork (failed); and voting on-line (done).

What still needs to be done:  Human research policies; question of collegiality; privacy of email; role of advisory boards; and copies of department policies and procedures.
